This was quite an unusual brief. The garden was very unlevel, sloping in two directions......the client had bought some paving but then couldn't lay it.... she had asked a landscaper who gave her too high an estimate for her budget.......so she was prepared for it to be done in a more higgledy piggledy fashion. She just wanted it to be somewhere nice to have a cup of tea in the evening sunshine, when she got home from work, using the hard landscaping components she had acquired, and to create some cohesion. There was a hedge that was established and taking all the nutrients and moisture from the soil, so the ground had to be improved considerably.
